In the years during the BCS, have won 104 bowl games. This corresponds to an average of 8 teams per year going to Bowl Games. Even more impressive were during the big 5 (Sugar, Rose, Fiesta, Orange and National Championship), 21 times the games have been played with an an SEC  team participating since the start of  the first BCS National Championship game in  January 2007 ). Their winning percentage is 76% in the big five  bowl games.

This means they win 4 of 5 games played in the five major bowl games. If this is not domination of college football by SEC football teams I do not know what it is.

The main reason that SEC football is so dominant is because of it’s location,  the deep south, which is home to college football. The population of these States are more than fond of their teams. The SEC conference is surrounded by Texas, Florida, Georgia and Louisiana. Along with California’s these states produce the best high school football players in the nation annually. Especially when it comes to speed.

I think it’s the biggest difference between the SEC and most other conferences – the overall team speed. It becomes very evident when a team a team in the SEC plays a team from the north or the Midwest. Not only are the defensive backs and wide receivers speedy, but the defensive lines and linebackers in the SEC usually are big and fast, a deadly combination.

Maybe because many of the biggest stages for college football are in the SEC and fanatical fans make the best players in the country want to play in the SEC. Nothing like a game in front of sold out football stadiums every week.

Most teams in the SEC East are recruiting Atlanta, Tampa, Miami, Orlando and Jacksonville areas. In the SEC West, they recruit the Dallas area, along with all the states of Texas and Louisiana. These cities and states just by pure numbers of high school athletes give the SEC a huge advantage. The ACC also attracts players from these cities and states, but they do get not get nearly as many 4 and 5 star recruits as the SEC.

Another advantage for the SEC football teams is the top notch coaches. There are great coaches across the country, but many of your best coaches want to coach in the SEC because they know about the tremendous fan support for their teams, the support that schools provide the teams and the coaches receive huge salaries in the SEC. Of course, incredible pressure to win comes from fans and the school administration.

Players want to get drafted high by the NFL and the SEC leads in that category. They have the most players drafted in the first round of the draft, and most years have the most players drafted. The SEC also better prepares the players overall.

Players will play in front of fanatical crowds every week and they can expect almost every game of their college careers to be played on television because of the contract SEC with the National Networks. This helps schools recruit in the SEC, because the players know that their families will be able to watch them on TV if they are unable to attend the Games.

There is one game that deserves more attention than others do. This is not a computer or a child game; this is one extremely amazing sport. It is filled with a lot of emotions and magnificent performance. Its name is football. This is the sport renowned from the whole world.

Tournaments and championships are part of that great game. European, African, American, Asian and World cups on national level are included. As the international cups, there are others on a club level. The most famous of them are the English, Spanish, German, Italian, Danish, Russian, Brazilian, Scottish and many others. The first four of them are the strongest and most watched.

In my opinion, the best is the English one. This championship is called premier league. There you can find excellent football players, who can do whatever they want with the ball. Unforgettable tricks, ball possession, extraordinary force, significant speed and perfect given passes, that is the style of the all participants in this tournament. Moreover, the biggest and hardest clashes are exactly there, where the competitions are with the highest cost. There every each team can win or loose the match, because the forces are equal. Exactly for that reason, I want to show some of these great teams.

In the premier league, the clubs are twenty, but the first one that will be presented, is Manchester United. At this moment and in the last 20 years this is the team, which dominates in the English championship. From its creation until now, it has won eighteen titles, eleven from them in the period 1990-2010. As impressive as it looks, the way of accomplishing each cup was extraordinary. Indeed, in these years of full leadership Man United met difficulties only from the teams of Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea. These four teams are fighting for the first place in the last twenty years.

One of the most entitled teams in England is Liverpool. Three years ago, that was the club with biggest number of won English cups, but now they have 18 so has Manchester United. In spite of that, they still keep the record of won titles in the Champion League, whereas is the battlefield of militant from all countries in Europe.

Another team that in the last ten years has enormous fluency in the fight for the first place in Premier League is Chelsea. It was purchased in 2001 year from the billionaire Roman Abramovich. That was the beginning of one amazing development of this team, which now participates even in the European scene.

Arsenal is the club with players who possess excellent technique. This is the team with the most beautiful game in the English championship.

At both national and club level England have had some great soccer teams. Admittedly, English club soccer teams have done much better in the European football tournaments, but the national team has still had some fine players. So, here are a few of the great English soccer teams.

England: 1966

Undoubtedly, the England soccer team of 1966 was England’s finest. In 1962 England’s team started to show some promise, and the appointment of Alf Ramsey provided the momentum for England’s 1966 glory. Ramsey’s team had plenty of talent, including players such as the prolific striker Greaves, Charlton, Moore, Banks, and Hurst in their line-up. In the 1966 World Cup these players would win the soccer World Cup after a thrilling 4-2 victory against Germany in the final. During this game, a hat-trick from Hurst sealed the victory and the soccer World Cup. They remain the only England team to win the soccer World Cup.

Man Utd: 1968

These days, most of the English clubs that win the Champions League and European football tournaments have a number of foreign players. However, those English club teams that won the former European Cup had far fewer foreign players and more English players. This was true of the great Man Utd team that won the 1968 European Cup which had only a few British players from beyond England. For the most part, English players such as Kidd, Charlton, and Stiles dominated the team. In 1968, Utd had reached their first European Cup final after a semi-final victory against Madrid and played Benfica at Wembley. The game ended 1-1 after 90 minutes, but in extra-time Benfica crumbled as Utd went on to score a further three goals. As such, they became the first English club team to win the European Cup.

Tottenham Hotspur: 1961- 63

No team had ever won the ‘impossible’ double in the 20th century. That was until this great Tottenham team proved that the double could indeed be won. Unlike more recent double winning sides, namely Arsenal & Chelsea, Tottenham’s double winning side was a largely English one, with Wales and Scottish players also in the team. Spurs made a fantastic start in the league, winning their first eleven games and never looked back. They won the league scoring over 100 goals, and then they added the FA Cup for good measure by beating Leicester City in the final. With players such as Blachflower and Greaves in their side, this team would also go on to win Cup Winners Cup in 1963 and were the first English club team to win one of the European football tournaments.

These were three great English soccer teams that won a variety of soccer trophies. They include the World Cup winning England team, along with the European Cup winning Utd team, and the Tottenham double winners that were largely English players. Today, the top Premiership clubs in Europe have more foreign players and so they are not truly English teams.

Coaching kids football at Under 9 and Under 10 becomes more constructive, and dare it be said, easier! Players should have developed a good understanding of the game and have sound football techniques covering the basics.

The kids football training sessions can be made more progressive because the players are more adaptable to different game and decision making situations. This means that the football coaching becomes more effective with players capable of increased decision making.

For under 9 and under 10 football players, you can expect the following characteristics:

Awareness – Kids football at this age will typically mean better understanding of their roles and on the pitch. Players are more aware of what is going on around them and can transfer knowledge from the football training ground to a game situation

Attention span – Always difficult this one – especially with kids football. Your players should slowly be less interested in picking worms and what is happening on the next pitch and be more attentive to what you have to say during your football coaching sessions. Try to hold their attention by encouraging questions and participation in demos.

Learning – Kids are like sponges at this age and they will pick up good and bad habits from everywhere. Expect them to turn up to football training with a trick or two they’ve learnt by watching a game on TV. Coaching of football skills and ball control in a short football training session is difficult so consider asking your junior fc players to do some football homework to improve their ball control and soccer skills. Holiday soccer schools in the half terms breaks are a good way to further improve the kids football skills.

Enthusiasm – For under 9′s and under 10′s they will have bundles of it. Encourage this enthusiasm. You’ll notice that enthusiasm soon turns in to competitiveness – players realise the joy of winning. Nurture this but do not over labour it. Coaching for football success with too much emphasis on winning at this stage is too early.

Football coaching associations can be a good resource of football training information and managers and football coaches who have achieved their level 1 coaching football certificate should consider progressing to their level 2 coaching football badge to stay in front of the teams development.

A useful resource of football coaching information can be found at www.canyouplayfootball.com. Coaching kids soccer at Under 9 and Under 10 becomes more practical, and dare it be said, easier! Players have to have developed an excellent perceptive of the game and have sound soccer techniques covering the fundamentals.

The kids soccer coaching sessions can be made more progressive for the reason that the players are more flexible to diverse game and judgment making situations. This means that the soccer coaching becomes more efficient with players capable of improved decision making.

Awareness – Kids soccer at this age will characteristically mean enhanced understanding of their roles and on the playing field. Players are more attentive of what is happening on around them and can convey information from the soccer coaching ground to a game position.

Attention duration – Always complicated this one – particularly with kids soccer. Your players must slowly be less fascinated in picking worms and what is occurring on the next playing field and be more conscientious to what you have to say throughout your soccer coaching sessions. Try to grasp their concentration by encouraging questions and contribution in demos.

Learning – Kids are like sponges at this age and they will pick up good and bad habits from all over the place. Anticipate them to turn up to soccer coaching with a ploy or two they’ve learnt by watching a game on TV. Coaching of soccer skills and ball control in a small soccer coaching session is not easy so think of asking your junior fc players to do a few soccer assignments to advance their ball control and soccer techniques. Holiday soccer schools in the short terms breaks are a fine way to further advance the kids soccer skills.

Enthusiasm – For under 9′s and under 10′s they will have lots of it. Persuade this enthusiasm. You’ll observe that eagerness soon turns in to competitiveness – players understand the joy of winning. Care for this but do not over toil it. Coaching for soccer victory with a great deal of importance on winning at this phase is too early.

Soccer coaching organizations can be a good source of soccer guidance information and managers and soccer coaches who have achieved their level 1 coaching soccer documentation must think about continuing to their level 2 coaching soccer badge to stay in front of the team’s advancement.
