Generally males have a higher muscle to fat ratio than females after puberty, which is just one reason why their bodies are able to better tolerate the rigors of contact sports, such as football. The naturally higher level of testosterone in males adds muscle for greater strength, while girls, with a higher level of estrogen are usually more flexible which makes their ligaments more supple. While an advantage in some sports, this increased flexibility puts women at a higher injury risk in football since their lower muscle to fat ratio is less able to keep their joints in a stable, safe position.
Women must also train much harder to obtain similar physical strength, an advantage that men enjoy naturally. Such wear & tear can further put women’s bodies at risk of serious injuries. Painful injuries, such as ruptured anterior cruciate ligaments in their knees can lead to a life-long problem. Football-playing girls are also more likely to suffer from chronic knee pain, shin splints and stress fractures. Further, they are more prone to ankle sprains, as well as hip and lower back pain. Long term problems include arthritis pain.
Women also move differently to men, in a more upright & less flexed position which can increase strain during actions such as, quick changes of direction, landing from jumps & body contact. The difference in woman’s hip design may also be another risk factor.
As for prevention, women need to accept their bodies are naturally different to men & understand how this impacts upon them when they choose to play football. Cross-training is just one option. Swimming, a non-weight-bearing exercise, helps strengthen muscles without over straining hip/knee joints.
Warming up correctly before training & using compressive joint supports to retain correct position of knee/ankle joints is essential for all sportsmen and women. In fact, far infrared therapy compressive joint supports and thermomedic therapy garments may hold the key to the prevention of long-term, debilitating injury for sports players of all disciplines and ages.
Diet is vital, particularly from a very young age. Medical research shows, even in male footballers, more injuries now than in previous generations due to a poorer quality diet and less physical activity. This means our bodies are less robust, making correct joint protection a high priority.
Choosing well-designed orthopedic therapy garments, obtaining specialist medical attention & allowing adequate rest following any injury are vital, yet overlooked issues. As a parent or team coach you can positively reinforce all these issues upon your girls. Consider engaging a team sports physiotherapist to individually assess each player for optimum performance & injury prevention.
Who said girls can not play football? I am a girl and I love football. I also call kicking a round ball ‘football’. The phrase ‘football’ is used to associate in kicking anything. I like to say ‘in playing football with a paper ball’ or ‘I am just playing football with a bottle’. The word football is commonly used in kicking something around. I have seen people play football with anything like bottles or cans. They usually just state that it is a kick about. But from this it is a sport which can relax your mind and divert your attention to something more competitive and fun. When I am walking down the street and I spot a stone. I sometimes kick it until I lose it. This is a skill of handling direction. Anyone can play football; it is not only a boy’s game. It is stereotyped to be a boy’s game, but the larger the sport is going, all genders are getting involved. I play with a bunch of lads. It is a bit tougher but exciting. Who said girls do not understand the off side rule. I do. So do not think football is just a boy’s game. It’s a girl’s game too. It is a extremely healthy sport so get your girls involved in football courses. childrens football organizations would allow any gender to play together properly to a certain age. While they are young, probably up to the age of 6, they could play together. After the age of 6, lads tend to get excited and play a bit rough, however it is still a safe and clean match when in supervision of a coach through football courses.
Getting your girls involved in kids football can enhance them to develop skills that they use whilst growing up. Believe it or not, girls have professional football teams too. For example England has a girl’s football team. From the sports England’s active survey in 2008, they state that 260,000 women and 1.1 million girls play some form of football in England. There are also 26 million girls that play across the world. Achieving the professional level, 20,000 females have successfully accomplished a position in the FA coaching qualification. Women’s football has a highly recognized name in player’s pathway and a strong center of excellence. Getting your young girls involved in kids football will not turn them into boys, it will build their self confidence and improve and develop new and existing skills.
Many girls love to play football. Allowing your girls to join football courses and getting involved in kids football will allow them to experiment in a exciting but mentally and physically stimulating sport. Girls tend to love footballers; I use to fancy Michael Owen. I see great players like Michael Owen as a role model. I want to play like then even though I have a soft spot for him. Playing childrens football is not always a dangerous match. Accidents do happen but the skills needed, like these great players, consist of a lot of mental and physical strength.
childrens football is one of the most renowned games, especially for the younger generation. So, girls lets show these boys what we are made out of.

A lot of my friends are super soccer fans, when talking about their feeling about soccer ,they always say that soccer is more important than love. But I want to list some evidence to prove that love is more important than soccer.
No.1 As we all know that the football match is always carried out according to the time of other country.I guess every soccer fan remembers those nights staying up with a up of coffee.Deserted night ,everything is the same dead silent.and their goals can not be cheered heartily. You’ll wake up with eye pouch and dark eye circle ,tired and exausted. While your girlfriend always remind you not to watch ,try to have a sweet night ,sleep like dead.
No.2 Perhaps the fans of each ordinary life can only kick the broken leather soccer. When you have to face the soccer covered with mud,the only thing to do is to spread quickly or kick it out ,you’ll are not willing to touch with hands, because it feels bad. While the girlfriend has creamy, jelly ,silk and water like skin, much better than the leather.
No.3 Many people like to say football is a man’s sport. Indeed, in the match, the injury is a very normal thing. They may get the fracture of the leg,hit the head ,tear their soccer uniforms or even lost too muych blood. While with your girlfriend ,these will seldom happen.
No.4 When you spend money on tickets when entering the ballpark, your favorite team may play terribly, which makes you feel suffocated and regret the money you’ve paid .While if your girlfriend get angry with you ,you may just stay silent, instead spending money.
No.5 When you yell at your girlfriend “I love you”Passers-by will say you’re romantic. When you shout facing the football “I love you”People will only say you’re crazy.
No.6 When play football, once you kick into your own goal carelessly, you’ll face the criticism from your team members ,the audience boos ,you’ll blush. If your girlfriend does not listen to your words, and go back to her mother’s house, you can just bring some gifts and get her home.
According the this lovely girl ,love is obviously more important than soccer.Of course,I’m just here to remind some of our soccer fans , do not ignore your girlfriends because of football.
