After only two rounds of the Champions League group stage, Braga and Partizan Belgrade are already drinking in the last chance saloon in Group H.

Without a point to their names, they go head to head tomorrow in a match each must win to keep alive their hopes of progressing to the knockout phase – or, more likely, the consolation of a place in the Europa League.
While it is all relative when talking about back-to-back defeats, Partizan have had the better results so far, edged out 1-0 by Shakhtar Donetsk before giving Arsenal a game in a 3-1 loss, compared to Braga, who have conceded nine and scored none in losing to the same two teams.

Partizan midfielder Sasa Ilic knows the importance of the game, and has called on his team-mates to replicate their best performances of the tournament so far – including the qualifying round victory over Anderlecht, in which they went through on penalties after a pair of 2-2 draws.
“To achieve a positive result we will have to play to our best, like in Brussels or in certain periods of the games against Shakhtar and Arsenal,” he told the club’s official website.
“If we succeed, our ambition to play more European football in the spring will come true.”
Partizan go into the game on the back of a league victory that took them back to the top of the table, but may be concerned at the number of times they conceded in their 5-3 victory over FK Smederevo.

Braga, in contrast, suffered a 1-0 loss at Benfica, and remain hampered by a lengthy injury list, particularly at the back.
Goalkeeper Quim has already been lost for the season with a ruptured Achilles, while on-loan defender Leo Fortunato is suffering from a thigh injury and has not been training.
Fellow defenders Miguel Garcia, Paulao and Alberto Rodriguez are all at various stages of recovery from their own injuries, and tomorrow’s game could come too soon, while midfielder Mossoro has only just returned to training after a foot problem.

The legendary Wembley Stadium is going to be witnessed the biggest match of this year between two best teams of the world Barcelona and Manchester United.
FC Barcelona is eager to bring home the most precious UEFA Champions trophy in club football second time in three years, and third in five after beating their arch-rivals Real Madrid.
The Red Devils Manchester United who already won the English Premier league crown are looking for revenge of 2009 when they lost to FC Barcelona two years back. Man United is looking to lift second cup of 2011 to cement their place amongst the greatest sides of all time. Sir Alex is very confident about his team win while he was talking to media fellows regarding this coming event.
Both teams are full of talented players and will start most of the same men that faced two years ago. Manchester United will miss the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo, their best player in 2009 who was key factor of that match and created trouble for FC Barcelona in the Rome. He was also deadliest in the final against Barcelona in the Spanish League Final.
Both clubs have continued to practice open, attacking football over the past two years. Manchester’s style is more physical, vertical, and direct, while Barcelona’s “tiki-taka” is still their modus operandi. By adhering to these philosophies and maintaining a core of players, both sides have dominated their domestic leagues since 2009, and earned another crack at European supremacy.
Now the major question is arrived, “Who will win UEFA champions league Final of 2011?” Who will be the new king of Europe for year 2011-12? This match will be a stunning, deadly, ugly and full of fast action. Both team will go for all out and will fight till the end. The whole world is eagerly waiting for this match which is going to be held on Saturday 28th May 2011.
I am a biggest fan of Manchester United Football Club so I will go with them. Who is your winner? Who will the deadliest weapon for this match? What will be the final score of this match? Will you share with us please?

Club followers from Asia know as much about Liverpool FC as some of the best well-versed and most loyal fans in the UK. Clubs that regularly win high-profile trophies make more coverage, both at home and aboard, and command much higher prices. On July 30, 2004, the Liverpool City Council gave the club planning permission to build a new 60,000 seater stadium, nearby at Stanley Park. Many clubs have moved to new grounds in the last 10 years. Football
Football has always been watched by all classes, this working class vibe is more attached to particular clubs than it is to the game as a whole. While the word Liverpool clearly denotes the city of Liverpool in the United Kingdom, and elsewhere, the name Liverpool FC is, in its ordinary signification, related exclusively with the Liverpool Football Club. I count myself very lucky to have been around during the wonderful years after promotion back into the 1st Division, proud to have wonderful memories of wonderful times, Bill Shankly, Joe Mercer, Don Revie and the players of the time and say good luck to the new world of scouse Football.
Anfield
Anfield itself is vastly different to what it looked like 2, 5 and 10 years ago not to mention 20, 50 or even 100 years ago. The highlight for many, however, is the chance to walk down the famous players’ tunnel and touch the famous ‘This is Anfield’ sign. The Anfield atmosphere, history and fabric is all part of the club. The fact is that LFC is Anfield and Anfield is LFC. The club offers tours of its stadium, Anfield, which include a visit to the dressing rooms and a chair in the team dugouts.
European
European triumphs at the Stadio Olympico, Stad de Lutz and as recently as the Westfalenstadion are witness to what Liverpool Football Club is all about. The club was present at two of the prevalent tragedies in European football — at Heysel in 1985 and Hillsborough in 1989. Liverpool made their first impact on the European circuit in 1973 with a UEFA Cup triumph, as well as winning another league title that season. In recent years, the city has emphasised its cultural attractions, winning the award of European City of Culture for 2008.

I find it hard to disagree that Aston Villa is not as strong a football team as say that of Manchester United, Liverpool or the Arsenal and I won’t bet on them winning the trophy just yet. However, after winning 5 league matches out of 6, getting the 4th place in the Premier League and being just 1 point short of Chelsea shows that they are surely catching up with them.To know that you are playing to lose must be quite a tough position to find oneself in but it is strange that Coach O’Neill and his team are just fine with it specially after having earned 21 points from 27 which shows they are in top form. It was ironic to witness Aston Villa show their gumption in a match against the Arsenal which ended in a draw. Villa has certainly come far under the guidance of O’Neill as was obvious from the 2nd half comeback they made thanks to 2 fantastic goals by Gareth Barry and Zat Knight. This was a Boxing Day gift for Aston as the draw helped them in keeping their 3 points lead over Arsène Wenger’s side. The character and determination with which the Aston Villa players defended their team against a loss from Arsenal was a revelation for me and fans all over. Earlier on if they had been placed in a situation where they were lagging behind a first class team such as Arsenal they would have given up long time ago but not this new team that Aston is developing into. Their confidence remained unwavering in the face of adversity and they proved that they were a courageous team that took destiny in their own hands. It doesn’t take long for the result of football matches to turn around and surprise all!In addition to these newfound characteristics of Aston Villa as a team, the exclusive traits possessed by football players Martin Laursen, Ashely Young, Steve Sidwell and James Milner are proving to be the driving force behind its’ new role as a strongly competitive side. I don’t see them letting anyone take them lightly and dismiss them so easily. The only thing that worries me at the moment is a player getting injured and not being able to play. John Carew is already missing from the action so in such a case the coach will have to play either one of these 2 players, Marlon Harewood or Nathan Delfouneso. I am not saying that these 2 players should be rejected outright as they have a lot of promise of turning into future stars but it is experience and expertise that is needed by Aston at this point. They have too much at stake to leave anything to chance. Therefore, it won’t be unwise to suggest that they should seriously consider hiring a new forward. The ouster of Carew due to injury has in some ways proved to be a blessing in disguise. O’Neill has experimented with setting up Barry, Sidwell and Petroy in the central midfield and has also deployed Milner and Young on the flanks. The result has not been disappointing. It makes me wonder if the Norwegian striker will find himself a place on the team when he is fit enough to return.O’Neill seems to settle quite a score by the Bulgarian Petrov. I also have started to accept him in the team but it is a mystery to me why O’Neill would try so hard to make sure Petrov got a place on the team. No doubt he is showing a lot of improvement this season but then let’s be fair. His passing is at best economical whereas what Aston needs is incisiveness. He lacks competitiveness and is not athletic enough as a midfielder should be. It may sound harsh to some but trust me, after having observed him for the past 2 and a half years I am not able to understand what it is that makes O’Neill so keen on having him on an otherwise splendid team. One weakness that I have observed is the weak full-back positions. Reo-Coker provided Arsenal with their 1st goal of the match but that could be merely a one time mistake that anyone could fall prey to. Luke Young is also playing well out of his familiar role although he could do better back where he belonged. All said Aston Villa seems to be a good contender for a place amongst the top 4. It is phenomenal that from being the team that always found itself right at the bottom of the ranks should suddenly be competing for the top slots. I couldn’t doubt manager O’Neill’s claim that it ought come as no surprise if his side finishes in the top four.Champions League Football Results by ScorePro.com
